By placing an order with Floraison Cakery, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read through carefully.

ORDERS AND QUOTES

Floraison Cakery requests all orders be made with at least two weeks’ notice. Short notice orders (7-14 days prior to the event) may be accepted based on availability.

Any quotes provided are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. A quote is not considered a booking confirmation unless a deposit has been received.

Prior to receiving a deposit, the requested event date is not secured and may be booked by other clients. Floraison Cakery is not obliged to fulfil the order until the deposit has been received and the booking is confirmed.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

Once a formal quote has been finalised, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your event.

For bookings made with less than two weeks’ notice or less than $200 in value, full upfront payment is required.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Booking deposits (50%) are non-refundable. Any cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will forfeit both the deposit and full payment. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

Deposits may be transferred to a new booking date (subject to availability) given at least 14 days’ notice prior to the original booking date.

Any date changes requested within 14 days prior to the original booking date will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to secure a new booking date.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Please notify us of any changes (design, size, flavour) at least 14 days ahead of the event. Changes are subject to availability, and cannot be guaranteed.

Floraison Cakery reserves the right to amend the original quote to reflect any changes.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY

Delivery and collection options are offered subject to availability.

Collection is from our studio in Monterey, 2217 at an agreed-upon time. If you arrive late or outside this scheduled window, we cannot guarantee our availability and may need to arrange an alternative time for collection.

Delivery charges apply based on location. Please ensure someone is available to receive the cake within the agreed delivery window. The cake will not be left unattended. If no one is available to accept the cake upon delivery, you will be required to collect the cake from our studio. Collection will be arranged at our convenience and availability, and the delivery fee will be forfeited.

Third party delivery can be arranged subject to availability. The delivery and care of the cake are entirely the responsibility of the third party, and Floraison Cakery is not liable for any issues following collection from our premises.

LIABILITY AND DAMAGES

It is your responsibility to check the condition of the cake upon receipt. By accepting the cake, you assume all responsibility for the condition and handling of the cake.

Once the cake has been delivered or collected from our premises, Floraison Cakery is not responsible for any damage that may occur.

INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS

Floraison Cakery is not an allergen-free kitchen. As such, there may be traces of gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts and sesame in our cakes. While every care is taken to avoid cross contamination, we cannot guarantee all products are free from all allergens. Floraison Cakery will not be held liable for any allergic reaction or intolerances resulting from consumption of our products.

It is your responsibility to communicate any dietary or allergen requirements at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to inform all guests of any dietary or allergen information.

Our cakes are made to be eaten on the day of the event for best results. Floraison Cakery cannot accept liability for any issues arising from improper storage or handling of the cake after delivery or collection.

VARIATION FROM IMAGES

While we welcome reference images as inspiration for your cake design, Floraison Cakery does not imitate or otherwise copy other artists.

For recreations of our own previous designs, slight variations may occur due to difference in cake size and proportions, availability of materials, colour variations, lighting and natural differences. The final product may differ from images shown, and is considered acceptable as each cake is a unique, custom creation.

IMAGE USE

Floraison Cakery reserves the right to take and use photographs of cakes made by us and venue space before, during and after set up, for publication on social media or other platforms for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, without any compensation to you.
