By placing an order with Floraison Cakery, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read through carefully prior to confirming your booking.

ORDERS & QUOTES

Floraison Cakery requests a minimum of two weeks’ notice for custom cake orders. Short notice orders (7-14 days prior to the event) may be accepted based on availability.

All quotes are valid for 5 days from the date of issue. A quote does not constitute a booking confirmation until a deposit has been received.

Prior to receiving a deposit, the requested date is not secured and may be booked by other clients. Floraison Cakery is not obliged to fulfil an order until a deposit has been received and the booking is confirmed.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

Once a formal quote has been finalised, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For bookings made with less than two weeks’ notice or less than $200 in value, full upfront payment is required.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

All deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit both the deposit and full payment. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

Deposits may be transferred to a new booking date (subject to availability) given at least 14 days’ notice prior to the original booking date.

Date changes requested within 14 days prior to the original booking date will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to secure a new booking date.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Any changes to the design, size or flavour of your cake must be requested at least 14 days prior to the event. Changes are subject to availability, and cannot be guaranteed.

Floraison Cakery reserves the right to amend the original quote to reflect any changes to scope or complexity.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY

Delivery and collection options are offered subject to availability.

Collection is from our studio in Monterey, 2217 at an agreed time. If you arrive outside this scheduled window, we cannot guarantee our availability and may need to arrange an alternative collection time.

Delivery fees apply based on location. Please ensure someone is available to receive the cake within the agreed delivery window. Cakes will not be left unattended.

If no one is available to accept delivery, the order will be returned to our studio and collection will be required at a time arranged on our availability. In this instance, the delivery fee will be forfeited.

Where third-party delivery services are used, responsibility for the cake transfers to the third party upon collection. Floraison Cakery accepts no liability for damage or issues arising after collection from our premises.

LIABILITY AND DAMAGES

It is the client’s responsibility to check the condition of the cake upon receipt. Acceptance of the cake confirms it is in satisfactory condition.

Once the cake has been delivered or collected, Floraison Cakery accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss or deterioration caused by handling, transport, weather conditions, venue environment or storage.

INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS

Floraison Cakery is not an allergen-free kitchen. Our products may contain or come into contact with traces of gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts and sesame.

It is the client’s responsibility to communicate any dietary or allergen requirements at the time of booking and inform all guests accordingly.

While every care is taken to minimise cross contamination, we cannot guarantee all products are free from all allergens. Floraison Cakery accepts no liability for any allergic reaction or intolerances resulting from consumption of our products.

Our cakes are made to be eaten on the day of the event for best quality. Floraison Cakery cannot accept responsibility for any issues arising from improper storage or handling of the cake after delivery or collection.

Floraison Cakery maintains full third-party liability insurance.

DESIGN VARIATION

While we welcome reference images as inspiration for your cake design, Floraison Cakery does not imitate or otherwise copy other artists.

As all Floraison Cakes are handcrafted, slight variations in colour, texture, and detailing are part of the bespoke process and are not considered faults.

IMAGE USE

Floraison Cakery reserves the right to take and use photographs of cakes made by us and venue space before, during and after set up, for publication on social media or other platforms for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, without any compensation.
